Structure and Purpose of the Course

This training and resource is designed to prepare The New School's faculty to both teach and prepare courses for the online environment. It will explore both the pedagogical and technical sides of online teaching as both of these elements are of equal importance. Through general tips, best practices, and actual online teaching examples, the course will offer the tools you need to succeed in providing students a great learning experience

Time Commitment for the Course

The course is generally designed to require eight to nine hours to complete, which can be best done over three weeks.

Access to the Course

Once enrolled in the course, you will have continuous access via your Canvas dashboard.

The Online Faculty Training Course is part of the broader support and community for online pedagogy that exists at The New School.
